Issues OF Improving the Quality OF Life OF Patients with Metabolic Fatty Liver Disease
Annotatsiya
This article presents an analysis of modern approaches to the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), including the treatment of patients with concomitant pathologies. Particular attention is paid to innovative strategies for liver tissue restoration and the possibility of using farnesoid receptor (FXR) agonists as a promising treatment option. FXR, as a nuclear receptor activated by ligands, plays a key role in the regulation of genes involved in metabolic processes, such as carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, bile acid metabolism and inflammation in the liver. Due to the ability to restore metabolic balance, FXR activator drugs can become a breakthrough solution for the treatment of NAFLD and associated diseases, providing a comprehensive effect on pathological processes in the liver.
