Principles OF Creating Speech Texts: Issues OF Logical Consistency in Legal Texts

This article analyzes the role and importance of logical consistency in the process of creating legal speech and legal texts. The research focuses on illuminating the logical foundations of speech structure and the application of formal logic laws (identity, contradiction, excluded middle, and sufficient reason) using examples from legal documents, particularly court records and procedural texts. The study employed formal-logical analysis, comparison, analysis, and synthesis methods. The results showed that the clarity, accuracy, and reliability of legal texts are directly related to logical consistency. The article identifies the functions of descriptive, narrative, and argumentative types of exposition in forming legal speech, and scientifically proves that non-compliance with logical rules leads to legal errors. The research findings have theoretical and practical significance for improving the professional speech culture of lawyers.
