Opportunities for Utilizing Handicrafts in the Development OF Tourism in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan, with its rich historical and cultural heritage, is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Central Asia. Handicrafts are an essential part of this heritage, serving not only as cultural symbols but also as significant economic assets. This article explores the potential of effectively incorporating handicrafts into Uzbekistan's tourism sector. Specifically, it examines the integration of handicrafts into tourist products and routes, analyzes International best practices, identifies existing challenges, and proposes recommendations. The findings of this study aim to enhance tourist flows and improve the economic well-being of local communities by incorporating handicrafts into the tourism infrastructure.
