SUSTAINABLE ECO-TOURISM: LEVERAGING REGIONAL ASSETS FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH IN UZBEKISTAN

This research investigates the strategic integration of eco-tourism as a primary catalyst for sustainable economic development within the regional landscapes of Uzbekistan. As global travel trends pivot toward nature-based and experiential tourism, local regions possess a unique opportunity to utilize their ecological and cultural landscapes to generate consistent, long-term revenue. This study examines the mechanisms of the economic "multiplier effect," the necessity of developing integrated green infrastructure, and the implementation of conservation-based financial models. The findings indicate that by transitioning from volume-based tourism models to a sustainable, community-led framework, regions can secure economic resilience while simultaneously preserving their vital natural heritage for future generations.
