Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate ProfessorAbstract: The functions of the executive branch, the main activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan are researched in the article from a theoretical point of view, additionally, the necessity to reflect the fundamentals of legal policy in the law as one of its important directions is argued. The article analyzes the various views of foreign scientists and experts in this sphere, also provides recommendations for further improvement of national legislation
