Abstract
Transverse focusing of electrons (EF) in a normal metal, in which there is a region with a superconducting coating between the emitter and collector, is examined theoretically. It is shown that Andreev reflection of charged carriers leads to the appearance of lines of EF with opposite signs. The amplitude of the focusing peaks carries information on the probability of Andreev reflection of electron and hole excitations at the boundary between the normal and superconducting phases and its temperature dependence.
