Abstract

The dependence of the conductivity of bismuth island films on the applied voltage has been measured. This dependence is attributed to the singularity caused in the electron density of states by electron–electron interaction (EEI). The experimental dependences σ (V) are in agreement with the theory of electron–electron interaction.
