Abstract

The magnetic susceptibility of bismuth and its alloys with antimony in weak magnetic fields is calculated on the basis of a model which describes the energy spectrum with an accuracy falling between the McClure and McClure–Choi (or Dorofeev–Fal’kovskiĭ) models. The results of the calculations are compared with the available experimental data.
