Abstract
The contribution of diffraction effects to the phonon thermal conductivity of point contacts is calculated. It is shown that a formula analogous to the Landauer formula for electron conductivity holds for the thermal conductivity of the contacts, but the manifestation of diffraction effects depends considerably on the conditions of interaction of elastic waves with the metal surface.
