Abstract

The propagation of magnetic flux in a system of parallel Josephson junctions (multilayer …–S–I–S–… structure) of finite width is studied theoretically. Expressions for the critical magnetic field and external current in symmetric linear configuration are obtained for a system of identical junctions. Numerical experiments are used to study the peculiarities of penetration of external magnetic field and current in junctions with different conductivities.
