Abstract
The contribution of hadronic vacuum polarization to the hyperfine splitting of the muonium ground state is evaluated with the account of modern experimental data on the cross section of ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\mathrm{annihilation}$ into hadrons.
