Abstract

The differential isosteric heats of adsorption of acetonitrile vapor on dehydrated sodium and polyhydroxyaluminum montmorillonites are determined. From the temperature dependence of the parameters of adsorption equilibrium, it is established that the substitution of polyhydroxyaluminum ions for Na+ ions leads to an increase in the volume of micropores and the heat of adsorption.
