Research on WLAN QoS

Abstract

Nowadays Wireless LAN(WLAN) is becoming more and more popular in telecommunication market and the QoS problems of WLAN are becoming more obvious as well.This paper is mainly focus on the mechanisms,which is used to realize the QoS of WLAN.The main way that WLAN used to realize QoS are introduced in this paper.After compare the different mechanisms,an outlook of the applications which are based on the WLAN(with QoS) is mentioned as well.
