Abstract

The status, problems, and development prospects of the fuel and energy complex of the Central Asian Region (CAR) countries are examined. In particular, data are presented on the CAR energy system resource base, and production and consumption of the fuel and energy resources in the CAR countries are analyzed. Special attention is devoted to the use of renewable energy sources.
