Acoustic properties of Dy2S3 thcck films at high frequencies
Abstract
Bragg light diffraction on hypersonic acoustic waves in lithium niobate crystals has been used for determination of acoustic properties of Dy 2 S 3 thick films. The investigations have been realized for determination of the velocity and attenuation coefficient of transversal acoustic waves in the Dy 2 S 3 thick film at frequency range from 0.4 to 1.0 GHz. and at temperatures 20 and 40 degrees centigrade. The frequency dispersion of the transversal wave's velocity in Dy 2 S 3 crystals has been detected in the investigated frequency range.
