30 Cases of Chest Pain due to Qi Deficiency and Blood Stagnation Treated with Modified Buyang Huanwu Decoction
Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of modified buyang huanwu decoction on chest pain due to qi deficiency and blood stagnation as well as the impacts on ECG.Methods Of 30 cases of chest pain due to qi deficiency and blood stagnation,except the cases administered sublingually with suxiao jiuxin pill due to intolerable angina pectoris,all the rest cases were treated just with modified buyang huanwu decoction.The efficacy and the improvements in ECG before and after treatment were observed among 30 cases.Results After treatment,the apparent improvements were achieved in the clinical symptoms and ECG indexes in 30 cases.The total effective rate of the main symptoms was 86.7%,that of the associated symptoms was 93.4% and that of ECG improvement was 93.3%.Conclusion The modified buyang huanwu decoction has definite efficacy on chest pain due to qi deficiency and blood stagnation.
