Abstract
A method that combines electrical discharge machining (EDM) and electrochemical processing of composite nonconducting materials is proposed. Electric discharges in aqueous electrolyte solutions are studied, the types of electrolytes and their concentrations are compared, and the electrical and mechanical parameters of the processing of different dielectric materials are examined.
