Abstract

This work considers certain incompletely solved problems regarding the determination of parameters of photocells. In particular, the physical reasons for the nonideality of the n-p transition and possible back-point regeneration are analyzed and generation-recombination currents formed in the area of bulk transition charge are registered. The capabilities of the diffuse (fuzzy) impurity level, nonohmic fall in base voltage, recombination laws in which intercomplex electronic exchange leads to recombination-rate saturation and inhibition (decrease), and development of self-structuring processes in the photocell material are studied as well.
