Italian Absract: Come altri siti romani, i Castra Albana, accampamento fortificato della Legio II Parthica fondato da Settimio Severo, mostrano un asse allineato col sorgere del sole al solstizio d’estate. L’allineamento e facilmente verificabile con un software quale SunCalc. English Abstract: Like other Roman sites, the Castra Albana, fortified camps of the Legio II Parthica founded by Septimius Severus, show an axis aligned along the sunrise on the summer solstice. This alignment is easily verified by means of software such as SunCalc.
