Abstract

The methodology of object-oriented programming technology is briefly described and the results of its application to the problem of modeling on a computer a one-dimensional oil displacement process in the framework of the mathematical model of Liss and Rapoport of two-phase filtering are presented. Computer analogues of real-world objects such as injection wells, production wells, and oil-bearing media between wells have been constructed and used. Performed computational experiments to simulate the process of oil displacement by using a program developed on the basis of object-oriented technology. The results of computational experiments are presented.
