Abstract

In this paper, numerical solutions are used to construct solutions of a two-dimensional RD equation with a nonlocal nonlinearity for initial distributions with several localization centers. The choice of the initial distributions corresponds to the experimental conditions in which inoculation of the bacterial culture is carried out at the center of localization of the initial distribution. The results obtained in the study of a one-dimensional non-local model created the necessary background for studying the formation of two-dimensional population structures under the influence of nonlocal interaction. Two-dimensional structures are most convenient for experimental studies.
