Legal Basis of Social Protection of Women and Gender Equality
Abstract
This article discusses the fact that at a new stage in the development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, work on the social protection of women has reached a new level and its legal framework has been created. This is evidenced by the analysis of the active participation of women in the elections in the country in 2019 and the opportunities and conditions created for them, as well as the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 2, 2019 No. 562 “On guarantees of equal rights and opportunities for women and men”.
