Abstract
Abstract This article describes the important parameters of the drying process. the relationship between mass transfer and heat transfer is given. Medicinal plants were selected for the drying process. Stinging nettle, ginger root and chopped leaves of elecampane are placed evenly in stainless steel meshes with an area of 0.5 m2 each and a depth of 5 cm, raw material from 50 to 90 kg (depending on the plant). Each raw material is dried separately without mixing with each other. The drying process is provided with a heat carrier.
