Abstract
It considered a non-homogeneous allocation scheme of distinguishable particles by different cells. We proved gaussian and Poisson limit theorems for the number of empty cells from the first $$K$$ cells. These results we apply to study the type I error and the type II error in select analogs of the empty box test.
