Think tanks and their impact on global political processes

Abstract

In today’s changing world if states are to thrive, they have to have sufficient amount of knowledge, data and analyzed material not only about themselves or their domestic policy but also about other actors, their behavior and general trends in international system. Therefore, the generality of states have already established a number of think tanks so as to have aforementioned materials. As a result, think tanks now play a key role in global political processes. Also, what is important is that their scope of actions is not limited within one area which makes their role even more essential.
