Abstract

This research work is devoted to the development of an analytical model of a traffic management system for an ATM network. The work considers a queuing system in which the intensity of the incoming flow changes depending on the level of filling of the buffer storage of the switch, the probabilistic - temporal characteristics of the two-level traffic control system were obtained and numerical studies of the mechanism of two-level restriction of incoming traffic were carried out for various buffer parameters, levels of restriction and load.
