Abstract

The article is devoted to the issue of expanding the limits of ammonia absorption on solid sorbent SrCl2 in the range of partial pressure Р0/RW = 1–8 Pa in solar absorption cycles. A setup for measuring the absorption and desorption of ammonia vapor molecules on SrCl2 has been developed. According to the results, it is recommended to use SrCl2 manufactured at mechanical pressure РM = 11 × 105 Pa as a solid sorbent in solar absorption cycles. Thermotechnical and adsorption characteristics of solid strontium chloride sorbent were studied.
