The use of heat pipes in drying plants in the processing of fruits and vegetables

Abstract

Abstract The article describes the use of heat pipes in drying plants in the processing of fruits and vegetables, selected coolant and material for heat pipes that are used in the drying process. A method is proposed for creating a vacuum for heat pipes, which will reduce the boiling point of the coolant inside the heat pipes. With experimental data, a laboratory experimental drying plant was developed and the temperature characteristics of the installation were determined.
