Abstract
An inverse dynamic problem of poroelasticity of a piecewise-smooth shear coefficient is considered using additional information on oscillations of free surface points. It is believed that Goupill's hypothesis about the equal propagation time of perturbations through the layers of a liquid-saturated porous medium has been fulfilled. Recursive formulas for recovering the unknown shift coefficient are obtained.
