Abstract
This study delves into the dynamic interplay between digitalization and the regional economic and scientific competencies in fostering the innovative development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Uzbekistan. It critically examines how digital technologies can enhance the utilization of regional economic potentials and scientific knowledge to spur innovation in SMEs. Employing a comprehensive methodology, the research assesses regional economic development using specific integral indicators, with a particular emphasis on the impact of digitalization.
