Abstract

This article explores the relationship between unemployment and one of the factors affecting the gross domestic product. The author used data from the World Bank. Data was received from 2011 to 2021. Also, the obtained data were analyzed using the OLS model, which is one of the econometric analysis models. The analysis shows that the collected data on unemployment do not have a normal distribution. In addition, tests have shown that GDP per capita data are normally distributed. It has been established that there is an inverse relationship between unemployment and GDP per capita. In addition, a regression equation was created representing a linear relationship between them, and based on these results, conclusions and proposals were developed.
