<em>This article discusses the ethical issues that educators should consider when designing materials. It outlines three main ethical issues: cultural sensitivity, environmental impact, and intellectual property. The article provides guidance on how to address these issues, emphasizing the importance of creating materials that are inclusive, sustainable, and original or appropriately licensed. The article is relevant to educators at all levels who are involved in designing materials, including textbooks, lesson plans, and other educational resources. By considering these ethical issues, educators can create materials that are not only effective but also ethical and responsible, promoting a more just and equitable society.</em>
