Abstract
The present study employs bibliometric analysis to conduct a comprehensive systematic review based on 395 articles published during 1994–2024 (31st March) to investigate critical publication trends and insights. Most publications have originated in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, and China. The prominent themes in the field include Echoes of Sorrow: Lure and Legacy of Dark Tourism, Experiential Odyssey of Dark Tourism, Dark Tourism: Motivations and Perspectives, Dark tourism dynamics shaped by death and disaster, Ethical Dynamics in Dark Tourism, Methodology, Emotion, and Trends of Dark Tourism and Historical Reflections to adventures of dark tourism.
