Abstract

The article covers the ways of achieving energy saving by frequency control of the speed of asynchronous electric motors. Frequency control is cost-effective, because it provides increased coefficient of efficiency and reduced power loss due to speed control of the asynchronous motor. It has been shown that the start-up and control of fodder grinding devices is done using a frequency converter, which is installed between the machine and the motor and controls the rotation frequency of the motor. In addition, in this article, a closed functional scheme for controlling the asynchronous motor of fodder grinding devices used in agriculture using a frequency converter has been proposed. According to this scheme, the motor starts smoothly during the start-up, and if more fodder is suddenly thrown into the fodder grinder during the grinding process, it is possible to control the speed of the motor by reducing it, and electricity is saved during the start-up. In the frequency control of the asynchronous motor, the application process of the closed functional circuit is automatically carried out, and the efficiency of the fodder grinding process and the saving of electricity have been achieved.
