Abstract
The bleaching process of polyvinyl alcohol gel from solutions of sulfuric, nitric, hydrochloric, and perchloric acids with different concentrations was studied. The dependence of the nature and concentration of the electrolyte, as well as the water activity, on the degree of swelling of the gel is shown. The sorption isobar-isothermal potential of water by PVA gel was calculated.
