Study of changes in the physical and mechanical properties of sulfur asphalt concrete mixture based on polymer sulfur
Abstract
The preparation of an asphalt concrete mixture practically does not differ from the preparation of an asphalt concrete mixture. The composition of the mixture was mainly studied during the preparation of the mixture. The mixture consists of sulphurous bitumen, sand, mineral powder and limestone. During the preparation of the mixture, mainly the places where the materials were obtained were also studied. The requirements for the dimensions of the samples and the requirements for their calculated mass are determined on the basis of GOST 12801-98. Samples are made in special forms. After sampling, the properties of zeroafalted concrete are studied. After sampling to study the physical and mechanical properties of asphalt concrete, it is necessary to study such properties of asphalt concrete as density, water absorption, endurance at a temperature of 20°C, endurance at a temperature of 50°C and endurance. at a temperature of 0°C. We mainly used the requirements of GOST 9128-2013 when choosing the composition of asphalt concrete. When preparing the mixture, the rules of technical safety were observed. In addition, special attention is paid to the sequence of work in the preparation of samples. After sampling, the physical and mechanical properties of asphalt concrete were studied. Preparations were made for tests to study the physical and mechanical properties of expanded clay concrete. To determine the physical and mechanical properties of the mixture, cylindrical samples are taken by compacting mixtures prepared in the laboratory, as well as from samples of mixtures taken at mixing plants or in production. It has been confirmed that the introduction of sulfur into asphalt concrete not only saves bitumen, but also improves its basic physical and mechanical properties.
