Abstract

In this work, a nonlocal boundary value problem for a degenerate equation of elliptic type with a singular coefficient and a spectral parameter is studied in a vertical half-strip. By applying the Hankel transformation and the method of separation of variables, a solution to the nonlocal boundary value problem is obtained in explicit form.
