Еcоlоgicаl Prоblеms of Public Spаcеs in a Mоdеrn Citу Cеntеr
Abstract
The article examines the main environmental problems of public spaces in the central areas of modern cities. It analyzes key aspects such as air pollution, lack of green areas, waste management problems and noise pollution, which significantly worsen the ecological state of the urban environment and negatively affect the quality of life of the population. Based on the conducted research, possible solutions to these problems are proposed, including the development of green infrastructure, optimization of traffic flows and the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies in urban planning. Particular attention is paid to the importance of the participation of the public, government bodies and environmental organizations in solving these issues. International experience in the transformation of urban public spaces is given, demonstrating successful examples of an integrated approach to their sustainable development. The results can be used in the development of strategies and measures to improve the environmental situation in cities.
