Abstract

In the present paper optimal quadrature formula for approximate evaluation of Fourier coefficients is constructed for functions of the space K2(Pm)(0, 1). At the same time explicit formulas for the optimal quadrature formulas are obtained. The obtained formula is exact for the trigonometric functions sin ωx, cos ωx and for polynomials of degree m− 3.
