Abstract

The antecology, fertilization and seed maturation processes of Green Gold, Imperial Star and Violetto (Cynara scolymus L) varieties were studied in medium saline soils of Bukhara region under conditions of moderately saline soils of Uzbekistan. The following adaptation features were identified: The beginning of the flowering phase and the duration of flowering (2-5 days) of artichoke varieties do not differ significantly from each other. The opening of flowers continued from 600 to 2000 hours during the day, the maximum opening was at 800-1100 hours, when the air temperature was +29+35C and the relative air humidity was 50-55%.
