Abstract

The article discusses general algorithms for designing hydraulic structures, as well as algorithms for selecting the optimal design based on the quality indicators presented to them. In the design process, several versions of hydraulic structuresare created that can compete with each other on various criteria, such as cost, durability, safety, resistance to external influences, and others. Algorithms have been developed that allow automating the process of evaluating these projects using an expert method. The Delphi and Pareto methods were used as evaluation methods. A technique has been developed for selecting the most suitable project option, which allows for all key parameters to be effectively taken into account. The proposed algorithms are easily adapted to programming languages, which makes the design process flexible and convenient. The system of steps, starting from the analysis of geodetic data and ending with Pareto optimization of the resulting projects, allows for the formation of a variety of solutions that meet the requirements and preferences of the decision maker, and for selecting the most suitable one. The proposed sequence of steps ensures the creation of a set of projects based on the initial data and the selection of the most suitable one from the point of view of the decision maker.
