Predictive Modeling of Information and Communication Technology Service Exports in the Logistics Sector A Case Study from Uzbekistan
Abstract
The increasing globalization of trade and the intensive development of ICT have transformed the logistics sector, making it a main component of the modern economy. The aim of the research is calculating impact of logistics ICT services exports on the factors of logistics in example of Uzbekistan. Variables chosen such as the volume of logistics services, capital investment, and exchange rates, and ICT services exports. As a research method used structural equation modeling (SEM). Data used logistics macroeconomic indexes of Uzbekistan between 2010-2023 The results show that a 1% increase in the volume of logistics transport services leads to a 2.16% increase in the export of ICT services. A 1% increase in the share of bank loans and other debt funds in fixed capital investments leads to an increase in the export of ICT services by 0.39%. Although a 1% increase in exchange rate leads to a 0.49% decrease in ICT services exports, this relationship provides valuable information for strategic financial planning. Understanding this impact allows businesses and governments to take measures to mitigate negative impacts. By focusing on improving logistics transport services and promoting capital investment, stakeholders can strategically increase the export performance of the ICT sector.
