ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS AND ENVIRONMENTAL APPROACHES TO NATURAL DISASTERS: SOCIAL PARTICIPATION AND SUSTAINABILITY IN EDUCATION

Abstract

In today's world, which is prone to increasingly frequent and devastating natural disasters, environmental awareness and sustainability are becoming key aspects of the survival and prosperity of human communities. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of knowledge and practices aimed at strengthening environmental literacy and sustainability among the population. First of all, the article examines modern methods of increasing environmental awareness, including formal and informal educational programs, public initiatives and media campaigns. Special attention is paid to the integration of environmental approaches into education systems at all levels, from preschool to higher education.
