Abstract

The chapter discusses the methodology of conducting a group case study on sales forecasting based on expert interviews as part of the Financial Planning and Forecasting discipline. The relevance of using the case method in the educational process is substantiated, allowing for a synergistic (multi-educational) effect on the formation of students' competencies. A detailed algorithm for organizing and conducting a case study on the topic of Sales Forecasting is proposed, accompanied by information on material support and risk management. This chapter is intended for teachers of economic disciplines who are interested in implementing interactive teaching methods, and it may be useful in developing practice-oriented courses in financial disciplines.
