Abstract

Using the statistical model and the fission and the neutron evaporation characteristics predicted in different theoretical models, we analyze the survival probabilities of superheavy nuclei produced in ${}^{208}\mathrm{Pb}$-based cold fusion reactions. For $Z<114$ all models give similar ratios of the neutron evaporation to the fission width. But for $Z>~114,$ they yield different results for this ratio and therefore lead to different evaporation residue cross sections.
