PARAMETER IDENTIFICATION OF AN INTEGRODIFFERENTIAL EQUATION

Abstract

In this paper, we study an inverse problem of reconstructing time independent coefficient of an integrodifferential equation from the final time overspecified data. The reconstruction of the parameter is transformed to a minimization problem through optimal control frame work. The stability estimate for the coefficient with the upper bound in terms of the final measurement derived through the minimization of the cost functional.
