Abstract
This article provides a comparative analysis of some algorithms that widely used nowadays for improving image contrast. While the estimating effectiveness of the algorithms, we took attention to the preserving the brightness of the image and characteristic features of the image and the increasing visual quality of the image. Criteria such as PSNR, SSI, AMBE, which assesses image quality, were also used during the experiments
