Abstract

Nickel(II) complexes NiL n ∙ NH3 (n = 1–5) with the products of condensation of ethyl 5,5-dimethyl-2,4-dioxohexanoate with aromatic acid hydrazides (H2L1–H2L5) were synthesized. The complexes were studied by elemental analysis and IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. The structure of the complex NiL1 ∙ NH3 was determined by X-ray diffraction (CIF file CCDC no. 1057268).
