Abstract

The spontaneous departure of rolling stock is an extremely dangerous case of a special accounting defect, which can lead to a train crash with serious consequences. The scientific article developed a mathematical solution for determining the number of required brake shoes to be installed at a stopping point depending on the physical parameters of the spontaneous departure wagons on the railway station tracks. U sing the developed expression, the process of determining the required number of shoes installed at the stop point depending on the speed of spontaneous departure wagons on the railway station tracks was modeled on the Windows Forms platform of the C # programming language of Visual Studio.
