Аннотация

We report an experimental study of the low temperature specific heat of samples of the layered crystal Pbl2 intercalated with piperidine, pyridine, aniline, and quinoline. Analysis of the results in terms of the model of Syrkin and Feodos’ev provides an estimate of the nature and the degree of variation in the anisotropy of the interatomic interaction as the various intercalants are introduced. An excess specific heat observed in the systems intercalates with aniline and quinoline is attributed to a possible contribution of the surfaces, caused by the finely divided nature of the samples obtained.
